Rob Martin
Adviser / Director Emeritus

Dr. Rob Martin is both a graduate of Auburn University and a retired professor from Auburn University.  He received his bachelors and masters degrees from Auburn and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois.  After serving with the United States Department of Agriculture for twelve years, he returned to Auburn where he taught agricultural economics for 25 years.  He and his wife Betty have traveled extensively around the world and have even lived in the Andes Mountains in Venezuela for several months.

In 2003, after retiring from Auburn, Rob became the first "Director of Internationals Ministries" at Lakeview Church and served in that role until 2007.  Many of the opportunities available today were developed and expanded under his leadership.  Today, Rob continues to serve a vital role in the Internationals Ministry and in Lakeview Church.  He is a "deacon" (one of twelve men who provide oversight and leadership for the entire church) at Lakeview.  In addition, he and his wife Betty lead Lakeview's Korean Sunday Bible Study class and regularly host Korean fellowships in their home.  Rob also serves in and advisory role to the current ministry director.  His wife, Betty, helps oversee the Conversational English (ESL) program.
